As a rose-growing and rose-promoting society, our by-laws state our purpose as follows:
To encourage interest in and cultivation of roses. To spread the love of the rose whenever and wherever practical. To sponsor public exhibitions of roses in accordance with the standards of the American Rose Society. To unite lovers of the rose in the Jersey Shore area. To contribute professional knowledge and experience and to disseminate results of amateur experience in rose culture. For social and intellectual enjoyment.
Our members consist of people whose rose-growing skills range from expert rosarians and judges to the true novice. We welcome you to join us and share in the rewarding experience that is rose growing. While the information on this site is meant to be educational in matter, The Jersey Shore Rose Society and The American Rose Society cannot accept responsibility for any error or misconceptions.
